LSC MISSION

This statement is simply the essence of our recent history and the actual foundation of our Society

The LSC mission is to:

Gather all the Lebanese cardiologists from various schools, universities, hospitals, regions, and confessions in an environment of conviviality, competitiveness and scientific collaboration away from socio-political conflicts, unethical competition, defiance and mistrust.

• Ensure a continuous "medical education" to all cardiologists as well as other specialties through a team of international speakers as well as creating a budding team of Lebanese speakers
• Ensure effective implementation of European & International guidelines and adapt them to the local practicing methods
• Establish national registries, launch and coordinate clinical and epidemiological trials
• Actively participate in the European Society of Cardiology annual scientific meetings as well as administrative bodies
• Develop a partnership with other international, regional and Arab societies
• Confirm our position as an absolute medical and scientific reference in cardiology and in forging health policies in this field
